Drive to Survive series has become one of the hugely popular documentary series on Netflix since the first day it aired. And as the beloved show returned for season 3 on March 19th, 2021, most of the fans have already flocked to the streaming platform in order to bing their way through the new episodes immediately. There hasn’t been an announcement for the renewal of Formula 1: Drive to Survive season 4 yet since its season 3 has only just been released. We should also remember that Netflix confirmed season 3 was on its way before there had been only a little time left, on February 19th, 2021.

But on the other side, Netflix cameras spotted during the 2021 testings. So this is a strong sign for a new season as well. Also a Brazilian journalist, Julianne Cerasoli noticed Netflix’s film crew present at the test as we reported earlier, which promises the happening of Formula 1: Drive to Survive season 4.

The sports journalist posted a tweet back then saying, “A little behind the scenes: Perez is giving an interview via Zoom and, behold, two professionals who work on the filming of Netflix are behind him … it seems that they are already starting the fourth season even before the third premieres!”
