We can’t heal the world today, but we can begin with a voice of compassion, a heart of love, and an act of kindness; conveys the newly added movie on Netflix, The Kindness of Strangers. But is it enough to stream the movie? Is the drama as compelling as it sounds to be? Or is it just another flick of such genres minus the depressing part? If you are running hither and thither to know answers to all these questions, please grab a cup of coffee and bear with us as we will clear all your doubts.
The plot of Kindness of Strangers
From the desk and direction of Lone Scherfig, the movie tells the tale of Clara, played by Zoe Kazan, and her two young boys who flee from her abusive husband. They find refuge in NYC but with no income. Most of her time is spent figuring out how to survive in a big and expensive city like New York. Towards the end, Clara receives kindness from strange people for her livelihood.
On the other hand, we have Alice aka Andrea Riseborough, who works on tiresome shifts to earn a livelihood and is always late for one of her many jobs. Then there are two men who attend Alice’s therapy group together, who also find help from other strangers. Each one of the major characters makes us realize that if you seek help; kind people are still out there to help the needy and to uplift them.

Kathy and I watched "The Kindness Of Strangers" on Netflix last night. It was wonderful – a truly beautiful movie.
Zoe Kazan is great, as are all the actors. If this doesn't touch your heart, you probably don't have one.— Brendan Buschi (@bfbuschi) February 11, 2022

February 14, 2022 at 5:49 amThe Kindness of Strangers pulled me in by Zoe Kazan’s outstanding performance. She in every way is the role model for the abused wife who escapes no matter what may come. Courage and faith in the universe to provide. I loved the film and felt at home with the characters who all help each other. These are the people who teach us how to be human. Give what you can when you can.

February 15, 2022 at 3:05 pmAmazing movie! It’s like the book “Zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance” – there are layers of depth and it’s hard to get for some mainstream critics!

February 20, 2022 at 7:50 pmAmazing movie! It was a reminder of the courage it takes to leave a very abusive relationship not just for the mother but for her kids. Excellent portrayal of a family banding together. And equally important, the actors did an amazing job of showing compassion in a difficult and awkward situation, it felt realistic. I didn’t see the critics’ rating of the film until after I watched it but they were way off, I highly recommend this film!
