Ryan Reynolds is not even mad that his ugly holiday sweater won’t die

In 2018, before the pandemic hit and all the social gatherings were canceled, Hugh and Jake Gyllenhaal hosted a Christmas party. The guests were supposed to come to the party sporting their ugliest sweaters, but when Ryan Reynolds made an entry, he realized the dress code was a lie. His friends had just pulled the greatest prank of the century with him. The Aviation Gin owner had the most grotesque sweater he ever owned from his closet, only to become the butt of the joke at the get-together.

However, as we all know, a man can take a joke. He turned the tables when he used the sweater to kick-start a fun campaign to raise money for the SickKids Foundation in Toronto. The brilliant marketing strategy raised $640, 000, as more and more people bought his holiday sweater and made it a trend. And the trend is continuing for Christmas this year as well.

Fans are continuing to order the ugly sweater green and blue sweater with a golden bow. When a fan tagged the Canadian in a post where he showed off his latest sweater collection, the Deadpool star replied in emojis that referred to brotherhood!
