The 10-episode series Emily in Paris takes viewers on a journey and tells about the urban adventure of a young woman named Emily who landed her dream job and found herself in City of Lights. Played by Lily Collins, Emily is a social media manager of a luxury brand based in Paris, France.

The series follows Emily as she tries to familiarize herself with a completely different culture while also trying to do her job. The comedy series has 10 episodes in its first season and it is available on Netflix.

The viewership count of Emily in Paris was 58 million in 2020. Which was probably more than enough for Netflix to renew the show. The series also received a good score from the viewers and it was nominated in Golden Globe as well. Now the series will continue as Netflix renewed Emily in Paris for the second season. But when will it be available on the streaming platform?

Although the popular streaming service has not commented anything about the release date for the second season. It announced that the filming of Emily in Paris season  2 has started.

Now that we know the production is underway, we can make a guess for the release date for the second season. The filming is probably in its early stages and it will probably take longer due to the restrictions. So it is safe to say that the second season will not land on Netflix this year.

On the other hand, the streaming service surprising its fans so there is also a slight possibility of seeing the second season right before 2022.
