Good news for all the Netflix’s Elite fans out there. After the announcement of the release date of Elite Season 5, Netflix released the first clip from the show, and let us take a sneak peek that what the characters are up to.

Elite is a Netflix teen thriller, set in high school, which was premiered back in 2018. Created by Carlos Montero and Darío Madrona, the series develops around three working-class teenage students enrolled at the school through a scholarship program and their wealthy classmates. It is full of chaos, drama, romance, adventure, and friendship. But it also features some of the progressive issues which teenagers are facing today.

The cast who all are coming back from previous season are Itzan Escamilla as Samuel, Omar Ayuso as Omar, Claudia Salas as Rebeka, Georgina Amorós as Cayetana, Carla Díaz as Ari, Martina Cariddi as Mencía, Manu Rios as Patrick, Pol Granch as Phillippe, Diego Martín as Benjamín, Adam Nourou as Bilal, Isabel Garrido as Patri and Carloto Cotta as Alberto.

The creators have introduced two new characters in the first clip. Let’s find out who are they and what are they like.

First look of Elite season 5

As announced by Netflix, all-new episodes of season 5 are coming on the streaming giant on Friday, April 8th, 2022. The previous season has left the fans in a cliff-hanging situation. This new season of Elite will pick up after Phillipe’s New Year’s party and Guzmán running off. And on top of that, Armando’s death will threaten the relationship between Samuel and Ari.

Every other character is going on with their issues, where Rebeka is going through self-discovery and Omar is still dealing with the separation from Ander.

In a conversation with TV Line, co-creator Carlos Montero said, “And the fifth season has been so great, so alive, that I know I’m going to come back to it more than twice and three times. It’s a feast for the senses. You’re going to enjoy it.”

As the show also released the first clip of Elite, which introduces us to two newcomers, coming from an influential family. We are going to witness the journey of Valentina Zenere as Isadora and André Lamoglia as Iván at Las Encinas. Through the clip we get a sneak peek into the world of our new characters. Iván seems to be a very down-to-earth, humble kid coming from a rich, influential family with a neglected dad. Whereas Isadora seems to be a completely spoilt rich kid with a sassy attitude.
