Demon Slayer has won almost everyone’s heart from the moment it first landed on Netflix. And although its second season trailer dropped in February, all of the once have been waiting since then and known nothing much really since then. So, here is all we know about Demon Slayer season 2 so far including its premiere date, synopsis, and more.

Demon Slayer is based on its original Japanese manga Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotouge. The anime series has received critical acclaim, especially with its animation and fight sequences. And in February 2021, the manga had over 150 million copies in circulation, including digital versions, making it one of the best-selling manga series of all time. We don’t even start to count the awards it has won, which would take longer. But it’s no shocker why the second season of the beloved anime series has been waited eagerly that much, as we can all see. So let’s see what we have got about Demon Slayer season 2 so far and when we will be able to see it.

Many of you probably know that there is also a film coming through to air on April 23rd, called Demon Slayer the Movie: Mugen Train. And the upcoming season of the anime series is expected to continue from where the film left off. You can see the released trailer of season 2 down below.

Demon Slayer season 2 will be adapted from the manga’s part “Entertainment District Arc.” So in this part, we will be seeing Tanjiro and company as they go to an unscrupulous red-light district Yoshiwara. In that district, crime and demon activity run goes really wild, and there is also happen to be a number of women disappear from the area as well. In the meantime, Tanjiro finds a new ally who also has a connection to this mystery, which encourages him way more than ever to solve this situation. But on the other hand, this district also makes him feel much more in danger than ever as well this time, although he always intends to sacrifice himself to help and solve other people’s demon problems.

Although we can’t tell you the exact date of its upcoming season’s release date, Demon Slayer season 2 seems to be expected to arrive sometime this summer of 2021. So this also gives you lots of time to watch the film before season 2 breaths of air to cover all your bases so that you can fully understand it.

On the other hand, we also don’t have the detail of how many episodes will the upcoming season include. But we guess the number of the episodes will be at least around twenty considering the previous season.
