The streaming giant is pretty serious about its schedule and it would not want the popular shows to prevent each other.</p>
<p>So it is safe to say that season 2 will not be available this May. But it is definitely on its way.</p>
<h4>How many episodes are there in Demon Slayer?</h4>
<p>The first season of shounen anime is on Netflix and it consists of 26 episodes. The awarded anime series tells about a young boy who tries to find answers in a world filled with demons. After losing his family to these creatures, he is on a mission to heal her cursed sister and take revenge for what&#8217;s taken from him.</p>

<h4>Is Demon Slayer the Movie: Mugen Train coming to Netflix?</h4>
<p>Demon Slayer the Movie: Mugen Train tells about the story after the first season of the popular anime. The movie also prepares the fans for the events in the second season. Unfortunately, Demon Slayer: Mugen Train is not available on Netflix. The streaming giant might add the title to its library in the future. But there has not been an announcement about it.</p>
<p>Let&#8217;s not lose hope though. Because Mugen Train broke lots of records including the highest-grossing anime title. The record belonged to Spirited Away for 20 years. The sequel movie managed to gross more than $385 million and became the top-grossing Japanese anime of all time. Netflix will probably offer the movie to its subscribers in the future.</p>
<p>But Netflix took some time before releasing the first season of Demon Slayer. Therefore, we&#8217;re guessing that the sequel movie Mugen Train will not be available for Netflix users before 2022.</p>
