Movies such as Red Notice, Army of Thieves, 6 underground, Extraction, etc., are a few examples of Netflix’s ocean of action-packed films. The streaming platform is set to add another fantasy action drama to its list. Fistful of Vengeance premieres on Thursday, 17th February on Netflix. A martial arts film involving superpowers; it doesn’t get better than this. Some viewers might be familiar with the premise of this movie, as it is based on the series, Wu Assassins, which aired on Netflix in 2019.
Fistful of Vengeance: A promising martial arts entertainer?
Fans of martial arts movies are in for a visual treat with the Netflix film. It is the perfect combination of superpowers and martial art; however, the story doesn’t disappoint as well. It revolves around a skilled martial arts assassin and his team looking for vengeance as they mourn the death of a loved one, a local restaurant owner, Jenny Wah.
The protagonist, Kai Jin, played by Iko Uwais, gathers his team once again in search of Jenny Wah’s killer. However, little does he know, he and his team may have to exchange blows with the Queen of Bangkok’s underbelly.
Kai and his buddies Lu Xin and Tommy follow a killer from Chinatown in San Francisco to Thailand. However, their pursuit quickly entangles them with old foes, a mysterious millionaire, and an ancient mystical entity bent on conquering the planet. In this fast-paced martial arts action film, Iko Uwais appears alongside Lewis Tan, Lawrence Kao, and Pearl Thusi.
