Cobra Kai season 4 won’t make its way to the streaming platform this September, but it’s coming very soon.

Cobra Kai is a pretty popular martial art series on Netflix. Starring Courtney Henggeler, Mary Mouser, and Tanner Buchanan, it is one of the most popular Netflix series out there. The latest season was released on the platform on January 1st, 2021. Ever since that release, fans have been waiting for the next season eagerly. Given the series’ success and immersive story, it’s no wonder why so many fans are impatient to watch the new season as soon as possible.

Unfortunately, Cobra Kai season 4 is not on the list of Netflix‘s September 2021 releases. The new season isn’t coming in the following month. However, we finally have a confirmed release window on our hands. Let’s see when to expect Cobra Kai‘s next season to come to Netflix.

Previously, we only knew that the new season would be released in Q4 2021. Ted Sarandos, who’s Netflix‘s co-CEO and chief content officer, announced that with a bunch of other popular series such as You and The Witcher. Thus we began to wait for a narrower release date.

Recently, Netflix shared the teaser trailer of Cobra Kai‘s next season. That teaser also confirmed a release window for the fans. Cobra Kai season 4 is coming to Netflix in December 2021. You can watch the teaser video below.

So yeah, now that we know S4 is coming in December, fans are already wondering what day it’s coming. Well, there’s no official announcement on that yet. However, we can make a pretty strong guess based on what we know.

Netflix usually likes to release big things around holidays, just when people can binge-watch them. That was the case with Cobra Kai season 3 as well, as that season was released exactly on January 1st.

When we look at the release schedule in December, we see that it’s really full. On December 3rd, the second part of Money Heist season 5 will make its way to the platform. After that, The Witcher season 2 is going to launch on December 17th. Netflix would want all of those to have time on their own, therefore, distant releases make sense.

Taking all of that into account, we can pretty much rule out an early-mid December release for Cobra Kai season 4. This leaves us with a possible release date of December 31st, 2021.

Just like they released the third season at the start of the year, the crew of Cobra Kai can release season 4 on New Year’s Eve. It’s both suitable for Netflix’s December schedule and a holiday.

Still, there’s no official announcement on the exact release date of Cobra Kai season 4. We only know that the new season is coming in December 2021. However, we’re pretty sure of a late December release.

As we previously mentioned, Netflix initially proposed a Q4 2021 release for Cobra Kai‘s fourth season, and it seems they are willing to use all of the quarter before giving us the new season of Cobra Kai.
