conned several people, get arrested nine times, and escaped prison, every time.
He was so good at forging signatures that he can forge signatures of Dhirubhai
Ambani and Dr. Rajendra Prasad.

Later, at 84, he was arrested.

CASSIE CHADWICK

Canadian con artist Elizabeth Bigley aka Cassie L. Chadwick claimed to be the
illegitimate daughter and heiress of an industrialist Andrew  Carnegie. So, she
was able to convince people and even banks to give her millions of money. She
scammed people when women are still struggling for the right to vote or loans
from banks. Chadwick was arrested twice. Then died of natural causes.

George C. Parker, an American con artist, who was able to sell Brooklyn Bridge,
