This Netflix Original made its way on Netflix just this year and it has really drawn many people towards it. The show brought Leigh Bardugo’s Grishaverse to life as a fantasy series; it is based on the series of novels which include Six of Crows duology, the Shadow and Bone trilogy, and the King of Scars series.

The story revolves around Alina Starkov, a cartographer who realizes that she can control light! When the danger of Shadow Fold glooms right upon her homeland, she decides to join the legendary army of Grisha. Once there, she meets a really skilled (also handsome) general who will train her if she wants to defeat the enemy.
