Our history with Jenna Ortega dates way back to when Disney premiered the Elena of Avalor show. Some may also remember her as young Jane from Jane the Virgin. However, most of us know her as Ellie, the savvy tech teen from season 2 of You. But that’s not all. Here’s a list of movies and shows, exclusively made for you to have a Jenna Ortega day on Netflix.

The Babysitter: Killer Queen

The movie follows a boy, Cole, who has a massive crush on his gorgeous babysitter. Later, he realizes that his first crush is a Satan-worshipping murderer. A movie that started as a generic comedy hence takes a darker turn. The boy suffers from PTSD. Hearing his long stories about cults and blood, his parents and friends think he is crazy. However, Melanie pretends to help him and takes him to her boyfriend’s boat. There Cole meets Phoebe aka Jenna Ortega. She changes the life of Cole.

This movie may not have the same pizzazz when it comes to killing scenes, but including Jenna Ortega in the Netflix thriller does take things up the notch.

Yes Day

In the movie, Allison and Carlos Torres are married with three children. In their early years of relationship, the couples are adventurous and say yes to everything. But as their children grow up, “No” became their new yes. Even Allison is not happy with her negative approach to most of their children’s demands, but she explains it is only to protect them. To solve this problem, a school counselor suggests a ‘yes day’ with some ground rules.

Jenna Ortega plays the role of the eldest sibling, Katie, ups the ante with a bet: if her mom says no during the yes day, she gets to go to a musical with her friends. If she loses the bet, Allision will go with her to the musical. Watch the movie to find out what happens next.

You

This list would look incomplete without mentioning Netflix’s psycho-thriller You. The series is based on the books by Caroline Kepnes. The drama series basically asks a question: what would you do for love? Turns out, a brilliant bookstore manager, who develops a crush on an aspiring writer, is ready to do anything. He uses social media as his tool to get close to her. However, the crush quickly becomes an obsession as he removes every obstacle and person to win her.

Ortega didn’t appear till the second season of this drama series on Netflix. Ellie, aka Jenna Ortega, is a movie-obsessed 15 years old aspiring filmmaker. She wants to do an internship with her sisters’ assaulter and is saved by Joe when she was falling into the same fate. Joe provides her with money to run down the east coast. Conversely, this good guy is actually an antagonist in the series.
