Based on an Incredible True Story, This Sandra Bullock Starrer Is the Top Trending Movie on Netflix US for the Past Week

Sandra Bullock, or as Raj from The Big Bang Theory likes to call her, “Sandy B,” is one of the most iconic actresses of the 90s. Her roles and the characters she has played have become icons on their own. She is not just a great actress at doing Romantic Comedies. But her films like Gravity and The Unforgivable, among others, portray her ability to transform herself into the roles she plays. One such movie that gave Sandra Bullock her one and only Oscar win is currently streaming on Netflix.

The film is not only streaming but has been able to dominate the Top 10 trending list by remaining number 1 for a whole week.

Since the release of her hit comedy The Lost City, another Sandra’s film is Netflix’s new number-one. The Blind Side, a 2009 thriller starring Sandra Bullock, is currently available on Netflix. It has swiftly risen to the top of the streaming service’s most-watched movies list.

The film is based on Michael Lewis’ 2006 book The Blind Side: Evolution of a Game. It tells the tale of NFL star Michael Oher and his adopted family. It includes Sean (Tim McGraw) and Leigh Anne Tuohy (Bullock).

The Blind Side is regarded as one of Bullock’s greatest performances among her numerous famous performances throughout the years.

Bullock won an Academy Award, a Critics’ Choice Award, a Golden Globe Award, Screen Actors Guild Award, and a People’s Choice Award for her performance as Tuohy. And it looks like Netflix subscribers want to see her award-winning performance as Tuohy again.

The Blind Side beating The Adam Project and The Bubble

Right now, The Blind Side is sitting above recent Netflix original films, like The Adam Project and The Bubble. Other titles filling out the top ten include all three installments from the Shrek trilogy, the Ryan Gosling-starring Blade Runner 2049.

Bullock’s flicks have been doing exceptionally well in recent weeks. When The Lost City debuted in theatres last weekend, it dethroned The Batman as the top box office draw.
