Fugitives became wildly popular among the viewers, and everyone wanted to know how an educated businesswoman like Sarma Melngailis was trapped in the plan of a con artist.
Melngailis, the restaurant owner of Pure Food and Wine and One Lucky Duck, in the heart of New York City, ran away with all the money from the restaurant with her husband Anthony Strangis. As per Sarma, her husband manipulated her by saying that he will transform her and her dog, Leon, into immortals. Being immortal is the ultimate way for Sarma to go on with her mission for a clean Earth.
But before involving with Anthony Strangis aka Shane Fox, her ex-husband, she also had other relationships. She was very close to Alec Baldwin, but their friendship never converted into any relationship. Further, Alec Baldwin met his now-wife in Sarma’s restaurant only and now living happily with his wife.

Did Louis C.K. give Sarma Melngailis an STD?
In 2012, Sarma Melngailis from Bad Vegan formed a relationship with Louis C.K. and they frequently talked over email. The emails were a part of a trove document that was only provided to The New York Post. Their relationship went downhill when Louise defended himself against having potentially passed along an STD to Melngailis. By June 2012, Sarma was freaking out of the situation. She was upset with Louise.

In Louse C.K.’s explanation, he wrote an email to Sarma. In the email, it was written that he kind of understands that Sarma is going through some difficult situation, but it’s no one’s fault. He never claimed himself cleaned. He apologized for this situation and if he has given her STD; it was okay for him. No one can do anything. He wrote, “We all share the current human bloodstream, which includes this kind of stuff. I should have worn a condom, you should have made me, we should have a lot of things. We are human.”

He even added, “Our generation has this stuff. The next generation will all be inoculated and will have sex with electric glass penises and digital vaginas and they’ll get software viruses instead. It’s part of life.”
The conversation, as mentioned, was a part of an email. Unfortunately, neither Louis C.K. nor Sarma Melngailis has provided any comment.
