Are the Cuphead Show! And Avatar Connected? Find Out
The beauty of storytelling lies in how you can connect two entirely poles apart stories by a single thread. The same is true with Avatar The Last Airbender and Netflix’s The Cuphead Show. On their surface, it seems that the two shows could not be any more different. However, they do have something in common.

Voice actors often do not get recognition like others, but die-hard fans always recognize their voices whenever they hear them on other shows. And fans have recognized the voice of Ms. Chalice to be that of Princess Azula. Yes! Providing her verbal talents to both is none other than voice-actor Grey Delisle. Netflix confirmed this with a tweet on their NetflixGeek account. The tweet was:
It is an absolute treat for fans like us to hear Griffin again. Although now in a much less cynical tone. Voice Actor Frank Todaro, Tru Valentino, and Wayne Brady are Joining her in the cast.

The Cuphead Show is created for Netflix by Chad and Jared Moldenhauer. At the same time, StudioMDHR and King Features Syndicate produce it. The show is based on a video game of the same name. The show revolves around two bother Cuphead and Mughead who try to make it through in their weird home Inkwell Isles.

It looks like Netflix will not stick completely to the original story of the Nickelodeon Avatar The Last Airbender.

Even though Princess Azula was not a big part of the original first season, it looks like the princess will be a part of Netflix’s first season as they have cast Elizabeth Yu for the role. For now, we just have to wait and see what becomes of our favorite show now that Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, original creators of the show, have left Netflix.
