“Wow” – Fans Show Love to the New ‘Mashle: Magic and Muscles’ Anime
The trend of turning manga into anime is proving to be fruitful. No better time than now for showmakers to bring to life some amazing characters and plotlines, and create a moving picture of the reader’s fantasy. As the manga genre spreads its wings globally, joining in with Naruto and Demon Slayer on the list is Mashle: Magic and Muscles.
A fellow viewer on Twitter posted a review of their first watch of the newly released anime. He called the anime ‘stupid but in a funny way’. The viewer gave a short sneak peek of the base plot and what can be expected of the anime. Overall, he called the anime hilarious for its little elements, including the main characters’ struggle with magic.

Mashle: Magic and Muscles revolve around the main character who lives in a world where one’s status in society depends upon their magical powers. Mash Burnedead, on the other hand, is not gifted even with a drop of magic. All he wants is to live a peaceful and happy life with his adoptive father, Regro Mash. But he must compete with the gifted magicians to become the Divine Visionary first.
The first episode of the animated series dropped on April 8, 2023. Fellow manga fans who watched the series are now stating their own opinion on the series.
What Twitterati has to say about Mashle: Magic and Muscles
Anime-loving Twitterati jumps on to review a new series as soon as it launches, most recent occurrence of this was when the first episode of KamiKatsu dropped earlier this week. The new one to go through the litmus test was Tomoya Tanaka’s direction of Mashle: Magic and Muscles.
Fans are admiring the anime as well as its primary source.
One stated how the original manga published in 2020 was not perfect but still amazing.
Others are already confident about the series garnering a widespread audience in a few months.

One even admired the voice actors in the show. The anime is voiced by Chiaki Kobayashi in the lead, with Keiji Kawashima, Reina Ueda, Takuya Udechi, and others in the voice actor’s list. A-1 production produced the show with a script by Yosuke Kuroda. Like much anime, Crunchyroll is streaming this series. Reviews on the anime are still incoming as word about the release spreads.
