One of the most awaited projects, aka One Piece live-action series, is mere days away from its hugely anticipated release. The hype surrounding it has been crazy, with fans eagerly waiting for it to drop. Moreover, with the multiple teasers and glimpses from the series, the audience is more hyped than ever. Amidst all the excitement surrounding the live-action series, creator Eliichiro Oda seems equally excited.

In addition to being the creator, Eiichiro Oda is also involved in the production of the upcoming live-action series on Netflix. Throughout the production, Oda has played a significant role in ensuring no compromises in any aspect of the show. And ahead of its release, the creator shared his thoughts on the upcoming live-action series.

One Piece’s live-action series has been a hot topic among the fans. Ever since Netflix announced the project, the fan base has taken the internet by storm. However, after being months in the making, the release of the series is mere days away. And as Luffy’s crew is all set to start their new journey, creator Eiichiro Oda has some advice for the fans. One Piece’s Twitter (now X) page recently shared Oda’s message to the fans. 

The creator seems incredibly optimistic about the live-action series on Netflix. He advised the fans to watch the upcoming project of the series on a big screen with the volume cranked up. In addition to that, Oda urged the fans to watch the series as many times as possible. The creator concluded his message before adding, “ON TO THE GREAT PIRATE ERA.“

Interestingly, it is very rare to see the anime community be so optimistic about a live-action series. Meanwhile, recent reviews from the critics also suggest that the show will probably be a huge hit among the fans. However, working with Eiichiro Oda was surely not an easy task as Owens recalled.

Creator Matt Owens recalled his experience of working alongside Oda

Projects like Death Note and Full Metal Alchemist failed to impress fans. However, Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece is likely to break the curse due to the creator’s involvement. While the hopes of the fans are high with this, creator Matt Owens revealed it was not easy to work alongside the creator. 

Previously, during an interview, Matt Owens revealed his experiences of working alongside Oda. The creator admitted how Oda brought a palpable pressure whilst being on-set before adding, “I don’t think I’ve ever been more nervous for anything in my entire life.“
