With each anime that it welcomes before the premiere of its multi-million dollar anime live-action series in the form of One Piece, Netflix is building an empire. And the most vital character in this geopolitical journey of the streamer is emerging to be Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead. From the brains behind Alice In Borderland comes another masterpiece for Netflix.

Perhaps it is the knowledge that Haro Aso possesses about how to make a global ringer or it is the vibrance and serendipity that Zom 100 manages to bring in a world on the brink of death, but fans cannot wait to find out when the new episodes are dropping on Netflix.

Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead anime Episode 1 dropped on Netflix on the 9th of July after it had already made waves since the manga and anime release in Japan. With a new episode dropping almost every week, fans were sitting at their computers as if waiting for a divine revelation when the clock struck 3:00 am EST, only to find out about the delay in the release of Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead Episode 4. The cause behind the delay is unknown, but fans will not have to wait for long as the episode will drop on the 31st of July.

The Akira Tendo anime series is making waves despite following the frequented zombie apocalypse trope because it focuses on the living rather than the dead.

Unlike shows that follow the journey of the survivors that maneuver through zombies, it follows the absolute bliss Akira Tendo finds himself in after realizing that he can quit his dreadful desk job. Because ultimately, a dreadful desk job will bring him death faster than any flesh-eating zombie could. And it is because of this fresh concept that Netflix has decided to stream not one but two Zom 100.

While the Haro Aso manga dropped back in 2018, fans enjoyed the anime series only recently. And before they could even take in the anime series, Netflix is already bringing to them a live-action movie of the same. The Zom:100 is not a Netflix production, although the streamer will be among the first to release it to the US audience.

It follows the same trope as the manga where Akira Tendo giddily makes a list of things he wishes to do before dying. Except this Akira is being played by the well-known Japanese actor Eiji Akaso, and he is coming to Netflix on the 3rd of August.
