Celebrities often show a representation of their favorite thing through references, and Rousey’s certainly wasn’t a subtle one. According to Comicbook, she turned up for the 14th Annual Money in the Bank event with a Majin M design on her forehead. The wrestler looked ready in fight mode, wearing her previous achievement on her waist, a blue jacket, a high ponytail, and a fierce look on her face.
Now she may not be a big fan of Vegeta, but it was his different form that she had channeled.
In Dragon Ball Z, the character allows Babidi to take over him, in order to gain a higher form. This becomes the rise of Majin Vegeta, who is more powerful and unleashes his darker side. This would explain Rousey’s approach to this year’s event. Although the event did not turn in her favor, her forehead marking certainly garnered some attention.
She is not the only celebrity to express her love in a big way for Japanese anime. Actor Michael B. Jordan did it too.

Making his directorial debut, Michael B. Jordan grabbed the opportunity to put Akira reference from Dragon Ball Z for his Creed franchise. Even his character Adonis Creed’s fight scenes with Jonathan Majors’ Damian were inspired by Naruto’s fight, including the way punches are thrown.
Even his trunks from the boxing ring are inspired by Kaneda’s jacket. Needless to say, both he and the fans loved the idea and the movie.
