Who knew that the streamer which had long been associated with the worst anime adaptations would give fans the best one yet. However, it is not just the plot that has caught attention. The One Piece Zoro actor, Mackenyu, has secured the greatest surface area in the spotlight and hearts.

Zoro’s combination of three swords and zero sense of direction makes him intriguingly magnetic in the world of One Piece. Much like how Mackenyu with his stellar performance and ethereal looks has come close to ruling the real world. Fans who were immersed in making edits complimenting the actor’s beauty raised their heads up only to burrow them under their pillows again as they saw the actor’s recent photoshoot for Numéro Netherlands.

Mackenyu was among the first actors to steal the show as soon as the cast was released. In fact, the actor became so popular that he got an early pass to the pop-culture-imposed rule that all good-looking men must sit in front of the camera and read ‘thirst tweets’.

With the ‘thirst tweets’ as Mackenyu gains more attention in the Western realm, older fans are educating the new joiners on his previous performances. And looks like his exceptional performance as Zoro is only another mission for the actor who is on his way to making sure that all animes get a stellar live-action adaptation.

What his various sword scenes in One Piece could not prepare fans for, however, is a professional floral-esque photoshoot of the actor.

One Piece Zoro actor stuns in nature-inspired photoshoot

By making a conventionally attractive actor take on the role of Zoro, One Piece creators added cherries to the cake. And by doing a nature-inspired photoshoot with Mackenyu, the Numéro Netherlands magazine added sprinkles to the very cake. Safe to say, fans have more than one or two strong opinions about the actor and this photoshoot.

The actor appeared in suits although all of them were graced with nature-inspired embroidery and prints. With the recent magazine cover, fans have joined Netflix in the act of Zoro worship.

One of the shoot photos features Mackenyu posing next to foil-like structures. But instead of decoding the significance of the structure fans were too focused on the actor’s beauty. “Bro looks good even wrapped in foil.”

Those who encountered the photoshoot before they watched the show felt an immediate need to watch the One Piece live-action. Such is the power of the One Piece Zoro actor, Mackenyu.
