Netflix’s One Piece will be a 10-episode long series that will cover the two story arcs from the manga–the East Blue Saga and the Alabasta Saga. Even though Netflix’s live-action adaptations have a history of failing to deliver, Eiichiro Oda’s association as a producer is making fans hopeful. After the disaster of Cowboy Bebop, the success of this best-selling series’ adaptation is in limbo!
The series has received a lot of hype owing to its reputation and the fact that this is one of the biggest production projects in Africa to date. With such a whopping investment, fans expect the makers to do justice to the fan-loved manga. Whatever said or done, Season 2 of One Piece can only happen if Season 1 successfully hits the bullseye.
