Naruto Next Generations has gone through a makeover. The Naruto franchise has gone through several spin-offs and editions over the years, in a never-ending expansion. With much excitement, this new manga was brought out with fresh looks by the original creator Masashi Kishimoto and Ukyō Kodachi. It received much love from fans but the source, AKA Boruto manga, returned with some changes now. The new name even has an interesting story behind it.

The return will not only have a new name but includes some changes with some characters. It has inspiration from within the world of Naruto, with a name bearing a dark past. Only those versed in the manga will catch on to the backstory of this new name.

New episodes of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex will return under a new name. According to a tweet, the special issue will be now called Two Blue Vortex. The name has a rather ominous back story behind it, which can be traced back to the Boruto manga. One of the leading villains from the Ōtsutsuki Clan said a stark line to Boruto in the movie Boruto: Naruto the Movie. He warned how the blue eyes of the character will one day “take everything‘” from him.

This name perhaps signifies the storm that is yet to come upon them. So far in the last episodes, we saw the possibility of a time skip, something fans have been thinking about. The time skip will set off the lead in a new journey as he looks to defeat Kawaki. With the whole village looking at the hero with skepticism, it will be seen how future episodes straighten his image up.

The manga series written by Ukyō Kodachi and Masashi Kishimoto, has monthly editions with different stories. Fans even speculated that it inspired snippets of the Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. In the next edition, its character Sarada Uchiha also looks different, from wearing a choker to a small haircut with geeky glasses. Her jacket in particular is seen as a fashionable inspiration from the lead character.

The manga, as we know, follows the story of Naruto’s son Bourto, who managed to impress fans globally. We can expect the next manga edition of it to resume on August 21.
