Not long ago, the much-awaited Season 2 of Jujutsu Kaisen made its way to the screens in July. After covering the Death Painting arc, Season 2 started off with Gojo’s past. The arc specifically revolves around Gojo’s past life, the high school years alongside Geto. Interestingly, the arc of the duo’s friendship is very similar to Kakashi and Obito.
Firstly, both friendships seem unlikely. Geto is an efficient and obedient student, one that every Jujutsu idolizes. However, Gojo is very different and is not someone who abides by the rules. His character in the show is a rebel. Moreover, he refuses to follow the regulations and often questions them. Throughout the series, the duo is never on the same page. Similarly, in Naruto, it was witnessed how Kakashi and Obito also differ in terms of their values and often argue while they are working together.
Moreover, Gojo and Kakashi are simply geniuses. They are admired by all and they prove themselves to be real prodigies. Meanwhile, Geto and Obito have a similar arc where they find themselves giving into the darkness, dying horrible deaths. Interestingly, Gojo and Kakashi suffer betrayal at the hands of their own friends. Following that, they become instructors guiding their future generations. However, that’s not all there is to it.

Apart from the backstory from Naruto that inspired JJK, there are various similarities between the two shonen genre anime. In Naruto, the trope is based on the lives of the trio of Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke. Similarly, in Jujutsu Kaisen, Itadori, Megumi, and Nobara are the trio.
Moreover, Gojo and Kakashi have similar physical characteristics. Both the sensei have white hair and also cover their eyes. In addition to that, they are both tall, and lean, and share a power related to their eyes.
