Demon Slayer Season 2 What We Know So Far
For Demon Slayer fans, every Sunday meant a new episode of the Swordsmith Village Arc and Tanjiro’s attempt to protect Nezuko and slay demons. Just last week, fans bid adieu to the Swordsmith Arc and are now all set for the Hashira Arc. The last episode of this season was full of action and more than that, our very own demon, Nezuko, getting immunity against the sun. So it goes without saying that Muzan will be hunting her and Hashiras and Tanjiro will have a struggle of their lifetime to fight against the Demon King.
There are many and many reasons that have hooked anime fans to the show, ever since the first season rolled out: the background demons have dictated why they are who they are, forcing you to sympathize with them despite them eating humans. And more than that, it has the crying Zenitsu, who is powerful when he sleeps, or Inosuke, who wants to be more powerful than the Hashiras.

But one thing that everyone agrees on is the perfect and spot-on adaptation of Koyoharu Gotouge’s manga to the anime, which even helped it bag the Anime of the Year Award at Crunchyroll’s Anime Awards in February 2020.
And a fan, recently pointed this out with various instances from the latest ending arc.
The accurate adaptation of Koyoharu Gotouge’s manga, Demon Slayer
The Swordsmith Village Arc made major revelations. Like how handsome Haganezuka is or Tanjiro’s inherited memory of his father, Yoriichi, who is still a mysterious character. Amidst Tanjiro’s Hinokami Kagura moves, it’s hard to ignore how loyal Ufotable was to its source. And a fan on Twitter has provided so many instances that act as a testament to the same.

ANIME AND MANGA COMPARISON OF THE FINAL EPISODE OF DEMON SLAYER SWORDSMITH VILLAGE ARC
I WILL HIGHLIGHT THE DIFFERENCE AND ADDED/CUT SCENES IN THE ANIME

One of the most heart-wrenching scenes from this season was to see Tanjiro’s helplessnesses, inability to decide if he wants to save Nezuko from the burning sun or to save the villagers from Hantengu’s wrath (*sobs in the corner*). The scene was an exact recreation of what was written in the manga.
Now onto the best parts of this episode
Tanjiro’s hesitation as he couldn’t decide, his expression of hopelessness and the voice acting were perfect in this scene. It hits so hard even as a manga reader. The anime portrayed better tanjiro’s hopelessness and stress. pic.twitter.com/1B1kFZXwdi

And so was Nezuko deciding for Tanjiro and letting him go with one of her powerful kicks to rescue the villagers (*goosebumps*).

But ufotable went above and beyond with the incredible soundtrack bringing back memories from Tanjiro and nezuko in s1-2

Another (and an absolute favorite) is the parallel we get when Tanjiro adopts the Thunder Breathing style to calm his muscles and regain his strength, something Zenitsu taught him.
This part is the same as the manga, in fact the episode as a whole is the same as the manga with little changes/addition here and there

And the one whose whispers still send shivers down the spine, Tanjiro’s Hinokami Kagura or the Sun Breathing Dancing Flash, that brought Hantengu’s life in front of his eyes.

Last but not least, the scene where Nezuko has finally conquered the sun and Tanjiro’s disbelief was seeing her, his only member of the kin, alive, walking towards him with her innocence, long hair, and cute fang teeth, saying, “So..glad” and asking Tanjiro, “Are.. you alright?”

While the Swordsmith Village Arc was a proper feast, fans expect more grandeur from the upcoming Hashira arc.
