Boruto resembles Sasuke more as they share many similarities. Throughout the series, Boruto progressively becomes like his mentor. He greatly admires Sasuke’s loyalty to the village and Hokage and aspires to become a shinobi who supports the shadows rather than the light. Additionally, Boruto inherits Sasuke’s independent nature, often finding himself at odds with his father and other figures of authority. He also looks to follow a journey as unique as Sasuke’s. Furthermore, Boruto learns several of Sasuke’s techniques, such as the Chidori and Rinnegan, and even dons a cloak and headband.
Meanwhile, Sasuke Uchiha will reprise his role in Naruto: Sasuke Story-The Uchiha and the Heavenly Stardust. The former is a manga adaptation of a novel by Jun Esaka and Masashi Kishimoto scheduled to be released in Weekly Shonen Jump. The other spinoff is Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, which is a manga series that focuses on Sasuke’s mentoring of Boruto as well as his confrontations with the Otsutsuki clan.
