In recent times, fans have witnessed how anime has become one of the most popular formats of storytelling. While the incredible story arcs surely deserve credit, it is the high-quality animations that have left the fans in awe. Over the years, the quality of animation and graphics have significantly improved. However, no matter how high quality the graphics of the shows are, they sadly aren’t real. But have you ever imagined how anime characters would look like in real life? Well, it might surprise you to know, but a thread on Reddit brought some iconic characters from Dragon Ball Z to life.

Dragon Ball Z perhaps introduced the anime fandom to some of the greatest iconic characters on-screen. Crazy as it may seem, fans have often imagined how these characters would look in real life. Well, a few years ago, it might have seemed impossible. However, as of late, AI has made some of the wildest imaginations true. Much to the delight of Dragon Ball Z fans, a Redditor recently left the fans in a frenzy as he used AI to generate images of some iconic characters and how they would look like in real life.

Surprising as it sounds, the results were incredible, to say the least. The AI generated nearly 20 images of various characters from the iconic anime series. Shortly after the user shared the images on Reddit, the fans could not hold themselves back as they flooded the platform. Undoubtedly, the fans were all praises for the incredible images the artist shared. A user commented how Trunks bore a strange resemblance to Leonardo di Caprio while another hilarious added how Goku looked like John Stamos on a steroid.

Will we ever get a live-action adaptation of Dragon Ball Z?

Fans are no strangers to the legacy of Dragon Ball Z. It is perhaps one of the greatest anime there is. Even though an incredible manga and anime series have been released, fans have been curious to know whether we will ever get a live-action adaptation on-screen. While there have been many updates, there has never been a solid confirmation.

Much to the fans’ disappointment, there is no live-action film in the works as of late. However, back in 2009, the anime did receive a non-cannon live-action adaptation titled Dragonball Evolution. That was the closest we ever got to getting a live-action film on the iconic Shonen series.
