It was after the blockbuster success of the first season that Studio Ufotable realized that Koyoharu Gotouge’s manga has enough potential to become a success on the big screen as well. This made way for two blockbuster successes, one in 2020 and the other in 2023. Based on the Swordsmith Arc, the movie was an easy hit. However, the studio is reportedly planning to go all out now as it takes on the most popular Infinity Fortress Arc, to churn out not one but multiple movies.
While Gotouge’s mastermind rarely ever has a dull moment, the Infinity Fortress Arc, which makes way for the final showdown, is widely accepted as the most popular. Although the news is not officially confirmed as of yet, given how it was delivered by the hands of a trusted leaker, fans are taking it as a goblet.
The previous movie managed to amass a box office collection of $500 Million in 2020. And with how anime has gained more global prominence since the upcoming movie is bound to boast of higher earnings. And also higher expectations.
What can fans expect from the Infinity Fortress arc?
Demon Slayer, in its entirety, is very popular. However, there is something that the Infinity Fortress arc possesses that not many chapters of the anime do. The arc has not one but numerous captivating fight scenes with complex plot lines involved.
