Netflix seems to be on a streak of adding influential animes to its library. From Naruto right down to its latest addition, Jujutsu Kaisen, it seems like the streaming giant is on a roll. But there is one anime that recently ended its third season, that the media company seems to have forgotten about, until now. Demon Slayer, the popular series, also confirmed the fourth season of the franchise before closing out the third one.

The third season may have had fans hooked till the finale. But while the series’ creator may be focused on the next season and storyline, it recently surprised fans when Netflix announced that it would be adding yet another anime to its ever-growing list.

Demon Slayer Season 3 is finally coming to Netflix

When Demon Slayer Season 3 was released back in April, the world went wild. The episodes had fans waiting for the rest of the season, which would be spread across two months. However, as reported by Anime TV X announced Demon Slayer: Kishi No Yiba – The Swordsmith Village Arc would finally be making its way to Netflix after almost a six-month gap. It was also revealed that the season will be making it to the streaming platform on September 28.

While Demon Slayer was based on the manga series of the same name written by Koyoharu Gotouge, the series has become one of the most awaited in the world. With each season leaving fans more enthralled than the last, it was no surprise that the third season caused such a commotion when it was released on Crunchyroll. But the action-packed season of Tanjiro’s adventure into the Swordsmith Village was followed up by a surprise after the season 3 finale.

In the third season, fans got to see intense fight sequences and Nezuko finally overcoming the sun. The season not only lived up to the hype but took it a step further with the confirmation of the fourth season.

What we know about ‘Demon Slayer’ Season 4

There are already plans for a fourth addition to the world of demons. Ever since the confirmation, fans have been left wondering what to expect from the new season and when to expect it. So far, it has been revealed that the new season can be expected sometime in 2024, but with no clear date. However, since the last 3 seasons were released in April or October, it makes sense that fans could expect the next one around the same time.

After the third season ended, the creators hinted at the next season with a teaser trailer, which just excited fans further. The trailer focused on the Hashira Training Arc, which in the comics is all about Tanjiro becoming a Hashira to battle against Muzan. Fans can definitely expect Tanjiro to reach his full potential and go to extreme lengths to protect Nezuko from Muzan’s wrath.
