As cinema-goers stepped into 2023 with the promise of a new phase of Marvel, a revamping of DC, a mystically mysterious Barbie movie, and the return of Christopher Nolan, winning their heart with the third installment of Creed without its power cell Sylvester Stallone was not an easy task. However, despite being new in the director’s chair, Michael B. Jordan delivered an impressive punch that earned him $224.3 Million at the Global Box Office. And he could not have done it without his anime fans.

The anime community, despite being large in number, is hard to find in big-screen theaters. And for them, Michael B. Jordan did the work of God by incorporating references from popular animes. The 36-year-old actor who is also set to appear next to Will Smith in the sequel of the celebrated sci-fi, I Am Legend, pleased fans with his meaningful anime references. And while the anime community has already considered him as their messiah, Michael B. Jordan is still not done blessing them. As Creed III releases in Japan by the name of Creed Kako no Gyakushū (Creed: Revenge from the Past), the actor has announced an anime towards the end of the movie.

The anticipated anime is likely to depict the highlights from the Creed III movie while sticking true to the magic of anime-style animation. Jordan treated fans to a poster of the same and it looks highly promising. However, to assist the actor in making his Creed anime dream come true, the genius trio behind the popular 2018 anime Megalo Box has reunited. Yo Moriyama will be directing the script composed by Katsuhiko Manabe and Kensaku Kojima.
