A Special Summer Poster Throws Light at the Lighter Side of Teenage Naruto Character
In the world of Naruto, ninjas seldom have time for themselves. Many times as the manga or the anime has progressed, it has taken on thrilling and gripping storylines. However, at the heart of it all, Naruto and all his friends are still teenagers. The very fact of being a teen entitles them to fun and frolic, which they can hardly do in this world. Now, a special summer 2023 illustration throws some light on the brighter picture. It offers fans a glimpse into what the iconic characters are up to when they are not busy fighting for the good.
Interestingly, the poster also features a theme that is contrary to what fans have usually seen on the show. Nonetheless, its uniqueness is refreshing.

Far away from the dark and gritty situations that Naruto throws the Konoha 11 in, the special illustration gives them a remarkably light-hearted makeover. In the poster, front and center, was Sakura Haruno in a black bikini with Ino Yamanaka in a white one, smiling at her. Meanwhile, the rest of the Hidden Leaf ninjas were running all over the beach as they ate and played fetch with watermelons. Kiba Inuzuka ran to his heart’s content with his dog, Akamaru, while the rest of the cast gleamed in the golden hour.
Interestingly, Sakura also drew two little figures on the sand who were none other than Naruto and Sasuke. The duo who started off together at Team 7, found themselves at opposite ends as their path diverged when Sasuke went on to seek vengeance. Although Naruto had vowed to bring Sasuke back to where he belonged, the latter had already joined forces with the enemy and treaded down a treacherous path. Nonetheless, at the end of it all, both of them reconciled and embraced their friendship.
Building up on Naruto and Sasuke’s emotional relationship, the franchise is to tug more at it by exploring Sasuke through Naruto’s son Boruto-focused spin-offs.
Boruto: Two Blue Vortex to take the franchise ahead and explore new themes and characters
Boruto happens to be at the crux of Naruto and Sasuke’s relationship. Although he is the son of Naruto, Boruto is connected to Sasuke at a much deeper level. Furthermore, the child’s ambition is to surpass Naruto, the seventh Hokage, who is incredibly talented and a lightning-fast ninja. The duo of Boruto and Sasuke, who are bound by the fate of the prophecy of the star of Hope, share much more in common than a student-teacher relationship. The upcoming spinoff, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex builds up on this theme.

In it, Boruto is looking to carve his own path outside of his father’s shadow. Additionally, Boruto possesses the power of Jougan, which allows him to see the invisible forces of the enemy. A rogue ninja opened deep a vortex in the sea to summon Kaguya – who was sealed by Naruto and Sasuke in the past. As the threat emerges, Boruto and his friends embark to save the world just like his father once did. Along with this, the franchise shall look at new locations and characters to further expand the universe.
