Netflix has had many gains as well as numerous losses lately. But, the one thing that has remained constant on the platform is the successful series of adaptations of books by Harlan Coben that never fail to keep viewers hooked to their seats. Considering Coben’s 5-year multi-million-dollar deal with Netflix, this doesn’t seem like it’s going to stop any time soon either.
This author of 33 global hits has had 75 million copies of his books sold and translated to numerous different languages. Hence, when he struck a deal with Netflix in 2018, subscribers of Netflix knew that they were in for a treat. There is nothing that excites a fan of thrillers more than a cliffhanger, and this just happens to be Coben’s specialty.
Over the years, we have seen the following titles adapted from Harlan Coben books on Netflix:
- No Second Chance (French: Une chance de trop)
- The Five
- Just One Look (French: Juste un regard)
- The Stranger
- The Woods
- The Innocence
- Gone for Good (French: Disparu à jamais)
- Stay Close
- Hold Tight
Which of Harlan Coben books can we expect on Netflix next?
Coben has a 14-book deal with Netflix, of which 10 are already on the platform. This leaves us with 4 more adaptations before Netflix either renews the deal or the contract terminates. Considering Netflix’s recent losses and the negative attention the platform is receiving on social media, there is a high chance of the former. But, those are all speculations only.
What we do know is that one of the following books by Harlan Coben is going to be adapted for Netflix very soon:
- Six Years
- Run Away
- Play Dead
- Miracle Cure
- Missing You
- Fool Me Once
- Don’t Let Go
- The Boy from the Woods
Hold Tight is currently streaming on Netflix.
