When Stranger Things went on to become the hit that it did on Netflix, it did not simply define the boundaries of success for a Netflix original, but also served as an example of a well-cooked story with an ultra-talented cast. As the show is now cooking up Season 5, the ultimate chapter of this best-selling book, the expectations from the story and the cast are off the roof. However, it seems that the generosity that audiences have displayed in expectations has been taken from their patience.

While much has happened since the curtains dropped on Stranger Things Season 4, even more has happened since the announcement of Season 5. The most crucial of the latter was the SAG AFTRA strikes, which accounted for a huge delay in the schedule. Irrespective of the delay caused due to the strikes, Stranger Things Season 5 is taking its sweet time in the making, Caleb McLaughlin gave the most logical yet assuring reason behind it. "We’re filming big movies, literally 8 blockbuster movies and that’s why it’s taking so long," he told The Movie Podcast.
Various cast members of Stranger Things have given an insight to fans about the making while also hinting at delays. However, McLaughlin putting all the pitchforks demanding for an early release has very eloquently said that creativity takes time, and Stranger Things Season 5 happens to be a nuclear weapon fueled by the same.
It was clear through Caleb McLaughlin's statements that Stranger Things Season 5 is going to be quite a ride but just to make sure her on-screen brother is taken seriously, Priah Ferguson made confession on a similar note earlier.

One of the most interesting characters to emerge from the previous seasons of Stranger Things was undoubtedly Lucas' little sister, Erica Sinclair. The character provided just the right amount of sass, no nonsense attitude, and creativity to push the gang in the right direction. However, the love for her character did not shield her from the prying questions about Stranger Things filming. Fortunately, the actress clarified that all was going great with filming.
Ferguson's statement presented a shining hope for the fandom that was living under a constant dark cloud powered by news about production mishaps and extended delays. Now with two members of the cast having assured fans and Netflix allegedly paying in thousands for the locals around set to keep mum about spoilers, any concerns about the show can be put to rest.
